Vintage 1930s Nooitgedagt Wooden Horse & Tip Cart Pull Toy Rare Dutch Tipping Wagon
Up for sale is a rare vintage 1930s wooden horse and tip cart pull toy. This piece was made by the famous J. Nooitgedagt & Zonen company in IJlst, Netherlands, who were best known for making high-quality woodworking tools and ice skates. Their wooden toys are very hard to find today.
• Authentic Logo: Includes the original round metal maker\'s stamp on the horse\'s shoulder.
• Tipping Action: The wagon bed smoothly tilts upward to function as a working tip cart. It has the original protective metal strip along the back edge.
• Original Wood Variance: The horse and base are solid beechwood, while the tip cart bed is made of original factory pine plywood. Both parts share the same matching vintage clear finish.
• Removable Parts: The wooden hitch shafts slide easily out of the brass eye screws on the horse.
Please see photos to examine the exact cosmetic conditions. This toy has honest vintage wear from age on the horse body and red painted wheels. One original eye screw was moved over time, leaving an extra small hole on the side of the horse from the repair. It is structurally sound and displays beautifully.
