This listing is for theoriginal 1986 US pressing of The Ultimate Sin, the fourth solo studio album by heavy-metal vocalist Ozzy Osbourne, released by CBS Associated Records (OZ 40026). Produced by Ron Nevison, the album introduced guitarist Jake E. Lee as a major songwriting contributor and includes the single “Shot in the Dark,” along with “The Ultimate Sin,” “Secret Loser,” “Killer of Giants,” and “Lightning Strikes.”
The recording features Ozzy Osbourne on vocals, Jake E. Lee on guitar, Phil Soussan on bass, and Randy Castillo on drums, with keyboards by Mike Moran.The Ultimate Sin is Osbourne’s only studio album to feature bassist Phil Soussan, who co-wrote “Shot in the Dark.”
This edition was pressed at the Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Pitman, New Jersey, and features the illustrated cover artwork by fantasy artist Boris Vallejo. It is housed in its original cardboard jacket, and has been play tested and ultrasonically cleaned.

Grading Guide
NEAR MINT (NM or M-)
Vinyl looks freshly opened with full gloss and no visible marks, spindle wear, or surface noise. Sleeve is crisp and clean with no creases, seam splits, or ring wear.
Very Good Plus (VG+)
Vinyl shows light signs of use, possibly a few minor scuffs or hairlines that do not affect play. Sleeve may show slight wear, including light edge wear, a small crease, or minimal ring wear.
Very Good (VG)
Vinyl has visible surface wear and light scratches, with occasional surface noise but no skips. Sleeve shows moderate wear such as ring wear, seam splits, writing, or creasing.
Good (G), Good Plus (G+), or Very Good Minus (VG-)
Vinyl plays through without skipping but has varying degrees of heavy wear, significant surface noise, and visible damage or label defects. Sleeve is heavily worn, with large seam splits, major ring wear, heavy writing, and/or tape/sticker damage.
Poor (P) or Fair (F)
Vinyl is cracked, warped, or skips during playback and is typically unplayable. Sleeve is extremely damaged or destroyed, with severe tears, water damage, or missing elements.
