Pantry boxes were commonly found in earlykitchens. This box is a classicexample. Circa mid-19thcentury, seems to be ash wood and has a natural aged patina. Measures around 9 ¾ D across lid, 5 ¼ H. Dry interior, wear appropriate to age with a bitof wood loss around inside top edge.
