An excellent example of a rare and desirable Mississippi River image, currently listed as #10 on the “Best 50” list for small foiio Curriers. Currier and Ives produced over 5,000 small folio lithographs, the 50 best within the top 1 %. This example is in very good overall condition, with some time toning but no tears, holes, water stains or other typical problems to note. The image measures 8” x 12 1/2” . Good margins of 3/4”+.
