The sleeves have been let out and a lining panel has been added to the sleeves. This alteration can be undone. The item is final sale and priced with the condition in mind. The jacket was handwoven in Chimayo New Mexico by the Ortega’s workshop. The jacket is most likely 60s or newer: this style has not been changed by ortegas for several decades. The jacket has real leather buttons instead of the plastic leather look buttons on the newer jackets. This jacket is a piece of vintage Americana and New Mexican design.
