Beautiful coordinating pair of vintage original floral paintings, each signed by the artist. The artist has not yet been identified.
One painting features bright golden sunflowers and white daisies against layered deep green foliage, while the companion piece features a lush arrangement of white daisies and wildflowers in rich green, teal and subtle purple tones.
Both paintings have expressive, painterly brushwork with wonderful depth and texture. They are displayed in substantial ornate frames finished in layered sage green and turquoise, with elaborate scrolling floral and foliate details. The dramatic frames give the pair a distinctive vintage maximalist look and make them especially striking when displayed together.
