Partial Lincoln cent collection in a Dansco album. Wheat cents from 1909 through 1958 and Memorial cents from 1959 into the mid-1990s. About 200 coins. Circulated, Very Good overall. Raw, not graded.
The key dates are not in this album. Empty holes include:
1909 VDB, 1909-S, 1909-S VDB, 1910-S, 1911-D, 1911-S, 1912-D, 1912-S, 1913-D, 1913-S, 1914-D, 1914-S, 1915-S, 1921-S, 1924-D, 1926-S, 1931-D, 1931-S, and 1968-S.
The coin in the 1922-D hole has had the D removed. It is an altered cent. It is not a genuine 1922 No D, and it is not a normal 1922-D. Sold as a damaged coin only.
Better dates still in the book include 1923-S, 1924-S, 1931, 1932, 1932-D, 1933, and 1933-D, plus a 1909 with no VDB. The 1960 small-date holes and the 1970-S small-date hole are filled. Those varieties are not certified. Check them yourself.
Variety note: the 1955-S shows a repunched mint mark — a second S faintly visible behind the main one at the top. This is a documented RPM, not a doubled die. Worth a modest premium over a normal 1955-S.
Most coins from the mid-1930s on are common. Early dates are mostly Good to Fine. Later Memorial cents are nicer. One dark, damaged cent is included at the end of the last page and has no premium.
