Custom made replacement drag knob for the old classic USA made Penn714Z,4300SSand430SSopen face spinning reels.
The original drag caps (part number52-714) from Penn were made of an acrylic plastic which crack and spilt apart over time and are no longer being produced by Penn. This is a direct replacement.
PLEASE VERIFY THE CORRECT REEL SIZE. The 714 (in this listing) IS LARGER than the 716. See photos for details.
Made with a naval brass insert machined specifically to fit the original spool shaft and the plastic body is printed with engineering grade nylon carbon fiber fill. Very tough, chemical and heat resistant. Extremely durable even in saltwater conditions.
