Up for sale here is this complete rebuild kit for the Pioneer SA-9800.This includes all the parts you need to rebuild all of the boards in the SA-9800, plus it includes upgraded replacement main capacitors and a new relay. This does not include new fuses or output transistors.This kit includes the following:

The kit for each board is bagged individually to make things easier.
These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The main capacitors are Chemi-Con 18000 uf 80v capacitors, the other capacitors are 105° Panasonic FC, Nichicon PW, Nichicon KL, Nichicon Muse, Panasonic film, and two axial Supertech caps at the same uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings. The transistors and diodes are the correct Onsemi and Toshiba subs for the original transistors, and the relay is a new Omron relay. These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild Pioneer equipment. No generic pictures here--you will receive the exact parts in the pictures.There are six mini adapter boards and six SMD dual transistors to replace the four 2SA798s and two 2SC2291s.You will need to assemble these, so you\'ll need either a very fine-point soldering iron tip and very thin solder, or you\'ll need SMD-working equipment.Or you can skip that step.
I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is a difficult rebuild, so you should have some experience rebuilding vintage gear. You should know what you\'re doing and have a decent soldering iron, heat-sink compound, and a dim-bulb tester with a 75W or 100W incandescent bulb. Ideally you will have a desoldering gun such as a Hakko FR-301.
