Poseidon’s Paradise: The Romance of Atlantis 1892 Elizabeth Birkmaier 1st Signed For Sale

Rare signed copy of Poseidon\'s Paradise: The Romance of Atlantis, evidently the first American novel to use Atlantis as a setting. Inscribed by author Elizabeth G. Birkmaier to her reverend (Dr. Lacey), dated 1898. Corners bumped with some wear. Ends of spine worn. Spine darkened with some spots near the top; a few similar spots on rear cover (I think ink?). Front endpaper has tears around the edges and is starting to separate from binding. A little movement of front board but textblock binding feels good. Pages slightly darkened. A little old book/musty smell. See photos.
