Posted: Postmarked March 6, 1956. Sent by Mom and Dad to Mr. Austin Raine, Nordman Route, Priest River, Idaho. Message reads: \"Mar 5/56 Dear Austin, How are you? Hope everything is OK. Up there we got out of the snow and bad weather. Today it is warm and green here. We expect to get to Velma\'s at L.A. by tomorrow. We saw quite a few cattle but they sure are thin. All of the saw mills here are a long way from timber. We haven\'t seen any good timber yet. We went by to see Bert Lareva but he had left for Redding and we had already passed there so didn\'t see him. Mom says take good care of the cat and Mike and water the plants once in a while. Well, by for now, Mom and Dad.\"
