Up for your consideration is a stunning Pre Columbian Pottery poly chrome vessel from the 1500’s. This was picked up by my Grandfather somewhere in his many travels. He was a British Military Officer during World II and later a Diplomat. This had been displayed in my fishing cottage for many years. It measures 4.5 inches tall by 3.5 inches wide. Some ancient cracks on the rim and a small hole in the bottom. In my opinion this does not detract from the piece at all. This authentic Pre-Columbian artifact is a ceramic pottery cylinder from Central America, specifically Nicaragua, dating back to the 1500s. The piece features a poly-chrome design in red, black, white, and orange colors, created by Pre-Columbian indigenous peoples. This original artifact showcases the intricate artistry and craftsmanship of pre-Columbian civilization, making it a valuable and unique piece of history for collectors and enthusiasts.
