Well, according to the innernet, this blade doesn't exist. I was unable to locate any reference of Svoboda ever importing Puma knives, yet here is incontrovertible proof that at least one was.B. Svoboda was an importer of Solingen knives starting in the '50s. It's clearly marked as a pre- '64 knife with a custom B. Svoboda etch on the blade. This beautiful blade also has a unique original scabbard in mint condition with an Oberforstmeister Frevert maker's mark. See the photos. This knife comes with a vintage Puma green cardboard box without printing. Considering the "one-offness" of this knife, it's possible that it was shipped in a surplus box with the original model# scratched off, but I doubt it. Nevertheless the poor condition box is included and will be packed with the greatest care to try to get it to you in 2 pieces (top and bottom). Due to its fragility,***THE BOX IS NOT GUARANTEED TO ARRIVE IN THE CONDITION IT IS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES***
and in fact, may arrive in pieces. An original good condition mini-catalog in Deutsch is also included.
The knife itself is in near perfect condition with a couple of pinpoint-size marks on the ricasso and the steel of the tang. See the pictures.
