Connector / Installation Information
This resolver does not come with the original factory connector installed.
The factory connector from the original resolver must be reused using one of the following installation methods:
* Depin the original connector and transfer it to the replacement resolver wiring, or
* Cut and solder the wires together, then properly seal each connection using quality heat-shrink tubing.
IMPORTANT WIRING NOTE
You may notice that the wire colors on the replacement resolver are not physically arranged in the exact same order as the wires on your original resolver. This is normal.
The wire colors correspond to the same connections/functions as the factory wiring.
Do not assume the wires should be connected based only on the position they come out of the resolver. Match each replacement wire color to the corresponding same-color factory wire.
For example, match the replacement wire to the same color wire on the original/factory harness, even if that color appears in a different physical position on the new resolver.
Take note of the factory connector arrangement before depinning or cutting any wires, and verify all connections before reassembly.
Proper wiring, soldering, and sealing are important for reliable operation.
Why Replace the Resolver?
The resolver monitors the rotational position of the eTorque motor/generator. A failed or damaged resolver can cause eTorque-related faults and system problems.
Replacing the resolver can be a much more economical repair option than replacing the complete eTorque motor/generator assembly.
The upgraded sealed construction also provides additional protection against moisture and contamination.

This part is intended for applications using the matching 3-lobe resolver rotor/setup. Components may vary by vehicle year and application, so compatibility should be verified before purchase.
This is not a direct plug-and-play part. The original connector must be transferred or the wiring must be properly spliced and sealed during installation.
