RARE 1938 VERVE AN ARTISTIC & LITERARY QUARTERLY NO. 3 Miro, Chagall, Klee For Sale

Very rare surviving copy of the French Quarterly VERVE AN ARTISTIC AND LITERARY QUARTERLY no. 3 from 1938. Printed in France. Most important is that it contains all four “SEASONS” lithographs by Chagall, Klee, Rattner and Miro. (See photos) all are bright but the back side that contains the signatures (in stone) contain smudges. There are many other colorful pages of photographs, artistic images and writings. It appears possibly one page was removed, of what I have no idea (see the photo) or it may be a tear from the binding. The cover and binding are in fair/poor condition with tears and separation. The pages throughout contain ink smudged and a couple images and the cover were scribbled on by pencil (see images). The edges of the entire magazine are worn and the Klee litho has a fold (see image) fortunately on a blank portion of it. Many have removed the lithographs and sold separately. I want to keep the integrity of the magazine so I am selling it as-is. Please review this listing carefully, look carefully at the photos. It is a very old publication and shows years of usage. I offer no refunds or returns. Any damage or theft in shipping is the buyer’s responsibility to resolve
