Moe Jubitz opened a full service truck stop in Portland Oregon in 1960.
In 1970, to advertise his business nation wide, he produced his own mud flaps to install on semi trucks. If you had a set and came back to Jubitz for fuel, you where given a gas discount. Such a clever idea!
The set measures...
24" x 30" x 1/4" thick
Made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) used in advanced blends to maintain high impact resistance and flexibility in sub-freezing weather.
The lightweight reduces strain on mounting brackets, with clean aesthetics, retains shape, color and printed logo much better than traditional rubber flaps.
This set of mud flaps is new old stock, never been mounted, been stored in a shed since 1970. There are a few black marks on them but will come off with a solvent of your choice. They have never been mounted or used.
I'm ASKING $600.00 or Best Offer. These are RARE, they're no longer in existence! You will never see another set!
I live in Washington but I'm only 17.5 miles from Jubitz truck stop. Free local pick up, or I can deliver.
