About our exclusive Magna-Tusk™ “Hi-Grade” Ivory Grips:

Magna-Tusk™ Ivory grips, an exclusive of ArizonaCustom Grips, are manufactured out of our super high-grade, ultra-highdensity Ivory material developed exclusively for our premium gripproduction. Vastly superior to standardbonded ivory found on factory and other aftermarket Ivory grips, Magna-Tusk™ iscapable of withstanding the heaviest recoil and impact, and is the toughestalternative ivory material available today, while still retaining the pristinelook of real ivory. It is completelyrock-solid, stable, and water, chemical, and oil resistant. It is flame and heat resistant, and is entirelyvoid-free, with over 10x the strength, durability, and impact resistance ofalternative materials. Unlike with realivory, there is no routine care and maintenance involved, with no danger of itdrying out and cracking if not maintained properly or if left in the heat. It is filled with premium natural andsynthetic compounds to produce outstanding aesthetic properties and mechanicalperformance. When aged with our exclusiveaging process, it takes on the equivalent of a 100-year-old patina, with subtlegrain details which many experts cannot tell apart from the real thing. In addition, the material has a fine grainstructure, which holds intricate detail for carvings, imitation stag, etc.,found on many historic grips.

About Our Aging Process: The best Aged Ivory grips startwith the best materials. Unlike thecommonly available “solid yellow” plastic grips which detract from theappearance and handling of a revolver or firearm, our Aged Ivory grips are madeout of the best components available, incorporate natural materials, andfeature a genuine, authentic patina.Their authenticity is so convincing that many experts cannot tell itapart from real Ivory. The difference isnoticeable even in the photos, but is even more apparent in person. These grips feature authentic color mottling,variegation, and subtle wear marks as seen on many of the revolvers whichbelonged to gunfighters and lawmen of the Old West.

We offer thehighest quality, most authentic imitation Aged Ivory grips available anywhereon the market.

Our processutilizes concentrated UV light (the essential aging property in naturalsunlight), and in addition employing heat and pressure in a special controlledhigh oxygen-rich environment which accelerates the aging process. Unlike a painted surface, our patina actuallyextends below the surface, intothe grip material itself. Notonly does it look better to begin with, but will not chip, crack, or peel, likesuperficially applied surfaces. With ourexclusive aging process, these grips are outstanding right out of the box, andwill continue to improve over time. Themore these grips are handled and used, just like any genuine patina, the betterthey look!

Please note: We make every effort toensure the best fit possible. Besidesusing exacting standards and state-of-the art-equipment in our manufacturingoperations, every set of grips is hand checked on our test frame for proper fitprior to leaving our factory. Thisensures the best fit in the industry.Occasionally, however, your grip pin may have been installed slightlyout of alignment or position, and you may find it necessary to slightly open upthe grip pin holes on the back of the grips to get the grips to seatfully. Full, easy to follow instructionsare provided with every set of grips.
