\"Rabbi Pinchas Michael Rokeach-Grosslit [c. 1808-1891] was a rabbi of Sharshuv and then, for over 25 years, rabbi of Antapoli (Hebrew: אנטופול, a town in White Russia located near the towns of Brisk and Kobrin). He revived said community and its Torah institutions, and is known by the name of this town. His father was a grandson of Rabbi Yehoshua Rokeach of Pinsk (grandson of Rabbi Elazar Rokeach). His mother was a descendant of Rabbi Meir Eisenstadt and a granddaughter of Rabbi Pinchas HaLevi of Amsterdam. Rabbi Pinchas Michael authored the books Leket HaKotzrim and Divrei Pinchas . His grandson published a book of his sermons with his biography, called Derashot HaRapa”m .
\"Rabbi Pinchas Michael’s tremendous prominence and his great importance in Heaven is attested to by his famous book Iggeret HaChalom , a letter sent to him by the Lithuanian wonder-worker Rabbi Mordeche’leh ‘The Maggid of Oshmina’ on 28 Shevat, 1881. In his letter, the Maggid of Oshmina tells Rabbi Grosslit about a series of dreams he had on the eve of Yom Kippur. In his dreams, the Mahar”i Ben-Lev appeared to him and told him, among other matters, that he should buy the book Shu”t Mahar”i Ben-Lev from the rabbi of Antopol, because the rabbi has a claim against him in Heaven due to the fact that he did not publish his commentary on Tractates Meilah and Temurah that he had begun to prepare for print. With the money the rabbi of Antipol receives for Shu”t Mahar”i Ben-Lev , he should print it. At the end of the letter, Rabbi Mordechai requests that Rabbi Grosslit send the book to him urgently, because his wife is ill and in danger, and in the last dream, the Mahar”i said that this was because he did not rush to buy the book. About four years after the letter, Rabbi Grosslit printed his commentary to the aforementioned tractates under the title Leket HaKotzrim .\" via winners-sales
