You will receive4 large healthy habranthus (rain lily) bulbs. As a bonus, I will include a couple of baby habranthus bulbs. These bulbs are larger than the ones I usually sell.

Bulbs featured in the secondphoto are representative of those which you will receive, only a little larger. They will come fresh out of our Florida gardens on the day they are mailed. They grow year \'round here. These are live plant bulbs, not bulbs that have been dried out and stored. Leaves maybe trimmed to accommodate the package. This causes no harm to the bulb and newleaves will grow.

These are very easy to grow! They can be grown in a pot or planter or in the ground.They prefer full sun to partial shade. They do well in planting zones 7-10, butcan be grown further north if bulbs are removed during the cold wintermonths.They multiply by forming bulbets at the base of the bulb and can be divided. Sometimes seed pods will appear after the bloom has died.Plant up to its neck in most any type of soil.
In the warmer climates, the long slender leaves remain green throughout theyear. They make a nice border plant too.These are often referred to as rain lilies. Within a few days after itrains, they form a beautiful trumpet like, pinkish lavender bloom. The bloomsmay reach up to 3 inches in width. The older the bulb, the larger the bloom. I\'ve also experienced some blooming using water from the garden hose.They can bloom throughout the seasons from late spring through fall. Their flowers are similar to Zephyranthes, except larger, and both are called rain lilies.
