Atelier Raoul Dufy estate edition
Offered here is a genuine woodcut impression of Raoul Dufy’s celebrated La Danse, one of his early modernist woodcut compositions.
This example bears the “ATELIER RAOUL DUFY” estate stamp at lower right and “Bois original” inscription at lower left. The 1953 printing of La Danse is documented as an edition of 220 impressions produced in the year of Dufy’s death. This is an actual woodcut impression and should not be confused with a later photographic reproduction, poster or decorative print.
The National Gallery of Art records the image dimensions of La Danse at approximately 12 3/8 x 12 1/2 inches, matching this example.

The print has now been removed from its former frame and is being sold unframed.
