An elegant and finely decorated Chinese Export armorial famille rose porcelain plate dating to the 18th century, Qing Dynasty. The plate features a beautifully painted central diamond-shaped medallion in vibrant famille rose enamels, surrounded by a turquoise diaper border and richly decorated pink ground. Three finely executed European-style armorial cartouches with gilt scrollwork and heraldic motifs decorate the rim, reflecting the custom commissions produced for European aristocratic families.
This type of porcelain was specially made for export and is highly sought after by collectors of Chinese Export porcelain and armorial wares.
