Founded by Frank Whittington in 1922 in the New Forest region of Hampshire, Forest Toys produced exquisite, small-batch, hand-carved figures depicting traditional British country life until production permanently ceased with the outbreak of WWII in 1939. This complete fox hunting vignette is a textbook example of their highly coveted artistry.
This historic set includes:- 1 Mounted Huntsman: Removable modular figure clad in a brilliant traditional scarlet hunting coat, black cap, cream breeches, and tall riding boots.
