Rare 4.5” Antique Frozen Charlotte Doll with Mohair Wig & Original Clothing
A charming and unusual miniature Frozen Charlotte, measuring approximately 4.5 inches tall including her hat. She has a delicate painted face, molded hairstyle with an attached mohair wig, and a beautifully detailed antique outfit sewn onto the doll. Her layered dress and decorated hat give her a particularly lovely presentation.
Her head appears to be a Biedermeier type, though I have not confirmed a maker or exact attribution. Please examine the photos closely for her construction and details.
Condition: The antique clothing remains sewn in place, so I have not removed it to inspect the covered areas. I have not observed any damage to the doll in the visible areas. The boots have some loss to their painted finish, and the clothing shows age appropriate wear and discoloration. Overall, she displays very nicely. Please review all photos as part of the condition description.
A rare and appealing little doll for a collector of early miniature dolls or Frozen Charlottes.
