Absolutely incredible rare mid century 15” tall novelty Bela Lugosi inspired Dracula candle, wrapped tightly in his signature high collared cape. Beautiful caramel coloured patina almost giving the appearance of aged wood. Highly detailed. 7lbs weight. Never lit, wick in place
Likely produced during the mid century Halloween boom. No makers markings but was typical for the time period, but could be produced by Gurley Candle Co., Tavern, or Penn Wax.
One small loss on the back of the cape (shown in photos) but is not visible from the front as displayed.
Nose appears to be flattened slightly (shown in photos) but retains the same patina and is hard to see from a short distance away.
Have never seen anything like this before and probably won’t see one again.
