Up for sale is a Magnificent rare, one of a kind Hopi pottery signed Violet Huma !!! This pottery came out of our friends antique shop after he passed away years ago. We’ve loved and cherished this pottery for many years and now it is up for sale time to let it go !!! Violet Huma was born 1930 to 1982. Violet Huma is an award-winning Hopi potter from first Mesa! Violet Huma pieces are very collectible pieces !!! Her 9 inch or larger vessels generally commands attention !!! Her award-winning pieces are featured through galleries like Steve Elmore, Indian art, and King galleries!!! Her pottery, was made using traditional clay and materials, and then traditionally fired !!! This pot is 9 inches high and 20 inches round ! There are no chip it’s in perfect condition as far as chips there is some ware to parts of the paint due to age!
Her signature is on the bottom of the vessel with some fading and ware to the signature but still very readable !!! my pictures will show you conditions of the pottery.
