Offered is an absolute investment-grade, time-capsule example of a 1964 Crosman Model 38C .22 Caliber CO2 Air Pistol. This is a highly coveted First-Year, First-Variant production model, confirmed by the original 1964 dated factory literature included in the box.
Before its public release, this heavy-weight double-action replica was secretly utilized starting in 1962 by the U.S. Air Force, the FBI, and various law enforcement agencies as an exact-weight training analog for the Smith & Wesson Combat Masterpiece revolver.
This is the ultimate configuration for serious Crosman completionists.
Item Condition & Features:
• The Pistol: Pristine First Variant featuring the early, solid-cast all-metal rotary pellet cylinder and the long metal rear sight assembly with an adjustable windage/elevation set screw.
