Japanese, 20th century. Rare Noritake pigeon blood glazed table vase with rolled rim above rounded shoulders on sloping body. Exterior with black pastoral landscape scene with cows cooling and drinking from pond in foreground. Noritake marked on bottom of the vase, purchased from owner in pre-occupied Japan at Noritake Factory in Kyoto, Japan, late 1940’s. Approximate height 8.5", diameter of opening at top 2.4" . Free of any chips, cracks, discolorations, blemishes. Have been stored to insure safety and security.
