Well-chosen blue matting seems in great shape.
Imitation glass, treated to reduce fading of print, is showing signs of wear: A few thin scrapes and one small ‘break’, as though something small had impacted the surface (see photo). It would seem that at some point an exterior backing of the frame was removed, apparently leaving the frame less sturdy. Ensemble is very light and easy to move around. Most importantly, the print is protected inside this frame, so we have not removed it.
