Jar-Ptitza was an important Russian émigré art and literary magazine published in Berlin and Paris during the 1920s. It brought together major figures of Russian literature, theatre and visual art living both inside Russia and abroad.
Contents of this issue include:

- Teffi — “Потомок”
- Andrei Levinson — “Russian Art in Europe”
- V. Tatarinov — article on Sergei Sudeikin
- G. Isarlov — article on Mikhail Larionov
The issue also contains artwork and illustrations associated with important Russian artists including Ivan Bilibin, Sergei Sudeikin and Natalia Goncharova, among others.
Of particular collecting interest is the striking original color cover by Mikhail Larionov, a major Russian avant-garde artist and a central figure of Rayonism.
Condition: Original antique copy, more than 100 years old. The original color illustrated wrappers are present and retain strong, attractive colors. Age-related rubbing, soiling, small tears and losses are visible along the edges and spine area. Interior pages show expected age toning and other signs of age and handling.
