Rare piece of American audio history: an early-production Lectrosonics VP18R \"The Sidekick\" portable public address system. Made in the USA, this heavy-duty, high-output horn and amplifier system was built to punch clear audio through high-noise environments.
Because this unit features the original Albuquerque, NM address printed on the faceplate and carries a very low four-digit Serial Number (0777), it dates back to the initial manufacturing run in the late 1980s before the factory relocated. This makes it a fantastic find for vintage pro-audio collectors or brand enthusiasts.
