Ray Kremer (D. 1965) was a standout pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1924 to 1933. Known for his control and consistency, he led the National League in ERA twice (1926, 1927) and helped the Pirates win the 1925 World Series. Kremer posted a career record of 143–85 with a 3.76 ERA. His best season came in 1926 when he went 20–6. Notably, he also won Game 6 of the 1925 World Series, forcing a decisive Game 7. Kremer was one of the few pitchers of his era to debut in the majors at age 31 and still carve out a dominant career.
Offered is Kremer’s personally owned signed 3.5” x 2.25” Elks Lodge membership card 1960-61. He also wrote out his home address on the back of the card.
