This is a new/never used 10 round factory original magazine for the Remington Nylon 77 & Mohawk 10C series rifles. This is a factory magazine so the outer body is made of a type of plastic with metal internal parts. I am not aware of Remington ever making a all metal magazine for these rifles. If magazines do not latch & fall out of your rifle a new magazine will not fix the problem. The magazine latch spring in these old rifles are known to to get weak & not lock the magazine in place. If that is the problem you will need to have a new latch spring installed in your rifle & that usually fixes the problem.
