A vintage Danish salt and pepper mill set by Richard Nissen of Denmark.
This sculptural pair features turned wooden bodies in a rich brown tone, with two different but complementary designs. One has the distinctive dark loop-shaped top, while the other features a tall cylindrical top with projecting wooden handles. The grinding mechanisms are marked PEUGEOT, the renowned French manufacturer of pepper and spice mill mechanisms.
Good vintage condition with surface wear, scratches, marks, and patina consistent with age and previous use. The salt mill has visible rust/corrosion around the filling area. Please review all photos carefully for the condition and degree of wear.
