Robert Lowery Signed Photo to Dolores Albin Born Yesterday Masquers Club 1963 For Sale

Robert Lowery\'s screen career included the title role in the 1949 serial Batman and Robin. Here the association is theatrical and personal: a photograph from a Masquers Club of Hollywood production of Born Yesterday. Lowery and Dolores Albin co-starred in that local production. I identify the quoted name Harold in the dedication as Lowery\'s role in that production. That combination gives the photograph a specific life beyond a standard studio portrait.

One photograph with a red handwritten dedication addressed to Dolores Albin, identified by me as Lowery\'s autograph. The Masquers production and role identification come from my knowledge of the item. This is offered as a Born Yesterday theatre photograph; the Batman connection is career context.

Images show the actual item. Scans and any additional close-up photographs may differ in tone. Please compare the views and read the separate Condition description for the good, the bad and the wear that comes with a life in show business.

I\'ve never believed in collecting for it\'s own sake. Collectors items should be shared and circulated. I grew up among my entertainment heroes of the Golden Age of Hollywood, and am now selling-off some of the treasures I accumulated as a fortunate young man in 1970s Tinsel Town. The autographs I\'m selling here have never been on the market before.

If you submit an autographed item purchased from me to ACOA and it fails ACOA authentication, send me proof of ACOA’s negative findings. I will refund your purchase price, shipping charges and the ACOA examination fees you paid, up to $20 per item purchased from me. I honor ACOA’s findings exclusively under this guarantee. I do not refund ACOA fees when an item passes authentication or when ACOA determines that the item cannot be certified or that no autograph authority can certify it. This is my refund guarantee; it does not mean the item has already been examined or certified by ACOA.

Corner creases, rubbed edges and scattered surface marks come with this photograph. The upper-left corner has several bends, and a long curved pale crease or scratch crosses the upper-right background near the dedication. Fine scratches, small pale spots and a few darker marks show elsewhere in the image. The border is unevenly yellowed and spotted; the reverse has more noticeable yellow-brown spotting and edge discoloration, plus visible creasing near the top. Even so, the faces and scene remain clear, and the red dedication and play/club notation are easy to pick out. A photograph that has been handled and kept, with plenty of stage presence left despite the wear.
