Six images of this very-generously-illustrated, eighty-year-old first edition are shown below. It is: Robinson Crusoe, by Daniel Defoe, Published by Grosset & Dunlap, 1946, first edition thus (i.e., this is the first edition with these illustrations). It measures 8 1/4\" x 5 1/2\" and is 372 pages and in Very Good-Near Fine condition with some fading to the top page edge and some very-gentle wear. Lynd Ward has done ten full page color illustrations, he has fully-decorated the endpapers in color, and he has done dozens of in-text black-and-white illustrations (e.g., please see image #3 below); all illustrations are in Fine condition. The dust jacket is not price-clipped (price: \"150/150\") and in protective mylar and in Very Good condition with about 1/4\" loss at the spine ends and some fading and gentle wear; image #4 below is the jacket\'s front panel. Regarding the book, there is no former-owner\'s bookplate inside, no writing inside, no foxing, and there are no loose pages; it will be shipped in a solid new box anywhere in the United States via USPS Media Mal for free.
