Compatible with many Oreck XL21-series uprights using the magnetic brushroll, including (examples): U7010, U7020, U7240 and related XL21 variants.
Does NOT fit: standard Oreck XL models such as XL2100 / XL2 (these use an ~11-1/4\" brush), Magnesium (LW) or Elevate series, and certain “ECS/CBS” variants (e.g. U7060ECS, U7070ECS, U7020CBS). If your old brush measures ~11-1/4\", this kit will not fit. Fit Tip: Check the model tag on your vacuum for “XL21” and measure your old brush. - Unplug vacuum; remove bottom plate.
- Release belt and lift out the old brush; transfer end caps if needed.
- Loop a new belt onto the motor shaft and brush, seat brush in channels.
- Reinstall bottom plate and test for smooth rotation.
