Rotel RX-1010 Vintage 1980 Receiver Made in Japan Works and Tested For Sale

Up for sale is vintage 1980 estate found Rotel RX-1010 stereo receiver that came out of an existing system and is in excellent overall working condition. This is another pretty rare piece of Japanese hifi and the amplifier is rated at 60w per channel. There is a picture of the detailed specs shown in the listing.
I opened the top and gave it a cleaning but honestly it was already very nice so I didn\'t need to do much as it was obviously very well taken care of. I ran it for about an hour and it sounds great. The only issue I can find is that every so often the tape monitor button kinda sticks and when it does you have to push it again to go back to stereo but that\'s pretty minor and if you aren\'t recording cassettes it is irrelevant. I tested the tuner, tape and aux inputs and there is a video of the unit playing music. I also tested the memory for the radio stations and that works as it should (you will need to put in 2 new AA\'s).
Cosmetically the unit is really nice. There are a few little marks to the top of the upper right corner (that I took a detailed photo of) but other than that the chrome is really clean. Definitely a very strong A- if not A from a condition standpoint.
Shipping is $35 fully insured anywhere in the domestic US. I ship from CT so if your near me and the shipping is less i will send back the difference as a partial refund.

Here is my fine print:

I have been in the electronics business basically all my life and do this for fun.I love finding the good stuff, passing it on and bringing great sounding audio back to life.I test all the components and my descriptions are very accurate and done to the best of my ability at time of sale. Some of the items are upwards of 50 years old now so all electronics are sold as is with no returns. We do a great job packing (look at our response) and insure everything at full value.
