The blade has a tiny gap where it joins the guard. Some wear to blade, which has been sharpened. Can be polished effectively by buyer.

This good sabre is not Zlatoust manufacture, which is my collecting area. No apparent markings, aside from the outfitter stamp on inner hilt (pictured, star with cursive Cyrillic). Steel blade seems very good quality.Excellent balance in hand. I think it is from the era of the Russian transitional government of 1917.
