Pool Shock 68% Calcium Hypochlorite - is similar to Sock-It, but can be broadcast evenly over the pool's surface without bleaching vinyl liners. Apply at night at the rate of 1 bag per 10,000 gallons. For green water add 3 bags per 10,000 gallons.When algae starts getting out of hand, turn to the fast-acting Calcium Hypochlorite chlorine granules pool shock! Our Rx Clear® 68% Calcium Hypochlorite active ingredient is very effective at killing and deactivating harmful contaminants such as bacteria, algae and other microorganisms.

Directions for Use:

• Prior to adding to your pool, adjust the pH of the pool water using pH minus or plus as necessary (ph balance 7.2 - 7.6)
• Add 1 to 2 oz. of this product per 1,000 of pool water to yield available chlorine residual of 5 to 10 ppm
• You can either sprinkle extensive area of the pool surface, or pre-dissolved in a large bucket and walk around the perimeter of the pool
• If algae growth is present brush affected area with a stiff bristle brush
• Add at night

• POOL SHOCK TREATMENT- Our super shock contains 68% calcium hypochlorite, yielding 65% available chlorine making this similar to Mega Shock, but slightly less concentrated. • MIX BEFORE YOU FIX- It is best to dilute Super Shock in a bucket of water before dispensing it around the pool which can prevent liner staining and cloudy water. Add this powder to a bucket of water before you add it to your pool. Add a 1 lb bag per 10,000 gallons of pool water.
• Follow "Shock Treatment" directions on the label. Add this product as close as possible to any algae on the side or bottom the pool. If necessary, repeat treatment.
