HEAVY-DURABILITY BUILD:This S97017702 exhaust fan grille cover is crafted from thick, heavy-duty plastic—engineered for superior durability compared to fragile alternatives. The rigid plastic grille resists dents and warping, while the shatterproof plastic lens stands up to accidental bumps (no more worrying about cracks from cleaning or daily use). Perfect for high-humidity spaces like bathrooms and kitchens, it fights off moisture damage, discoloration, and degradation over time.
IMPROVED VENTILATION PERFORMANCE: Worn or warped old vent covers block airflow and reduce fan operating efficiency. Our precision-molded replacement delivers smooth, unobstructed airflow, quickly clearing bathroom moisture, kitchen cooking fumes and stale, stuffy indoor air. Replace damaged or ill-fitting bathroom exhaust fan covers to bring back your exhaust fan’s proper air-circulating performance for more comfortable living spaces
SIMPLE DIY INSTALLATION: First, turn off power to your vent fan/light via the circuit breaker or wall switch . Second, remove the old grille by gripping its edge and pulling down gently; its built-in spring clips will release from the ceiling unit, and if the clips feel stuck, you can use a flathead screwdriver (optional) to nudge them inward slightly for easier removal. Then, take the new S97017702 grille assembly— which comes with pre-attached spring clips—hold it up to the vent opening, and line up the clips with the unit’s slots; Next, push the new grille upward firmly until you hear a “”—the spring clips will lock into place automatically
