SCARCE EARLY AMBULANCE

Post WW1 early red cross vehicle

c.1920\'s

Wells of London .... trade mark

little uniformed driver figure, sat behind his correct steering wheel

measures about 12 cm length / approaching 5 inches

very attractive black & white finish; still showing the fine litho printed windows

ambulance livery and company production info

underside clockwork / wind up mechanism; still winds up and spins rear wheels

you only need to wind up a small amount.... ambulance still drives forwards nicely

Real period antique toy

nicer early quality tinplate model, much more like the German pieces

retains its little wheel arch / running boards; the sweet front headlamps

ALL ORIGINAL AND UNTOUCHED BODY

Still sits on the earlier, open spoke, cart wheels.
