We can fix issues with the Pentair ScreenLogic Protocol Adapter that others can’t. You may have been told your adapter is bad, bricked, frozen, locked etc and has to be replaced - it doesn't!! We can repair it!
Half of all "BAD" adapters have corrupt firmware. We flash those to factory defaults and send them back to you repaired - job complete!
The other half need parts at an additional cost to you. Read below for more details.
HERE’S HOW THE PROCESS WORKS:
- Purchase our repair service from this listing
- We'll send you our shippingaddress the same day (if repair is urgent, ask first)
- Before you ship us your adapter write down the Pentair: xx-xx-xx number printed on the side label, or take a photo of the side label (you'll need it during the process).
- If you have Antennasand want them tested, send them. We'll need the indoor and outdoor antennas, indoor power supply, serial connector, and Ethernet cable to perform a complete test.
-Ship your device to our address as provided. Include a note in the package with your user name so we can easily identify it when we receive it. Use a shipping service with tracking and send us the tracking number. You pay to ship to us. We pay to ship it back.
- Your adapter is normally evaluated within 24 hours (weekdays) after we receive it. We work a lot of weekends too. If your repair is urgent - ask to check our schedule before purchasing.
- Repairs are completed. If you need parts you'll be notified first and you'll need to respond. See details below.
- Once repaired we connect your adapter to one of our systems for you to log in and test. You will be notifiedand instructed to log-in remotely with your phone, computer etc.to see that your adapter is working.
- We wait for your confirmation of successful log in, then ship your repairedadapter back to you.
If your adapter needs parts and additional chargeswe will send you a report, a quote and options to continue. We accept Zelle, Venmo and Paypal. Repairs are completed promptly after payment is sent and we put your adapter online for you to test and confirm as described above.
Terms and other issues:
-We can’t guarantee your original issues were notfully or partially caused by your Pentair Control system (Easytouch, Intellitouch), your home network, router, or internet serviceprovider. This is why we put your adapter on our network first, for you to remotelyobserve that we have repaired it. Therefore, once you confirm you can connect remotely,there is no refund.
-You should have a decent knowledge of networkingbasics before using our service.
-Your repaired adapter will be shipped back withPentair's most up-to-date firmware.
-Your adapter with be set to DHCP. If you areusing this service, you should know what that means, or have someone with basic network skills available to help you.
-If you use the wireless connection kit, be awareit has a limited broadcast – limited by distance and obstructions and RF interference. You may need to move your transceivers closer together or havethe means to hardwire your adapter directly to your Pentair controller at thepool/spa equipment pad to fully test.
- In some cases the total cost to repair may be more than you'd like to spend. Please understand we must getpaid for our services even if it is only for the evaluation and report. In most cases however, we may offer a refund in exchange for your adapter trade in.
- Adapters are shipped back only to the address you used at checkout. We use shipping services to acquire your shipping address.
