Hygia SDS-PAGE Gel series are high performance precast polyacrylamide gels that are developed to separate a wide range of protein sizes by electrophoresis. The gel is cast in a neutral pH buffer that minimizes polyacrylamide hydrolysis and increases gel stability.
They also run at neutral pH which minimizes protein modification compared to Tris Glycine gels. Hygia SDS-PAGE Gel series consist of a wide variety of polyacrylamide concentration and can separate a broad range MW of proteins.
You can choose the percentage that best separates your target protein based on the migration chart. Note: Hygia SDS-PAGE Gel uses MOPS-SDS buffer system and is incompatible with Tris-Glycine buffer.
The maximum loading volume is 50uL for 11-well gel and 30uL for 15-well gel.
The gels are compatible with most mini-sized SDS-PAGE apparatus (please see cassette size in technical specification for reference).
