Album of black and white photographs of Moscow monasteries and temples. The album is based on two sources: the works of M. I. Aleksandrovsky and N. A. Naydenov. Naydenov\'s 13-volume collection is a kind of visual aid to the history of all Moscow churches of the late 19th century - 1000 photographs, of which 158 were taken. Historical data about them are taken from the \"Index of Moscow Churches\" published in 1917 and the archives of M. A. Alexandrovsky. Under each photo there is text in Russian and English.
