The legend of Morita: born in Chiapas and raised on the pitch in Tijuana, Gilberto \"Morita\" Mora earned his other nickname, \"El Bombero\" (The Fireman), as a kid at Jaguares de Chiapas because he always showed up to save his team. A Xolos homegrown talent, he debuted in Liga MX at just 15 and scored within about a week, the youngest scorer in league history.
Then came the history. In the 2025 Gold Cup he became the youngest player ever to debut for Mexico (16 years, 257 days), set up a goal in the semifinal against Honduras, and started the final against the United States, becoming the youngest player ever to lift an international trophy.
World Cup 2026, on home soil: on June 11, 2026, in the opener at Estadio Azteca, Morita came off the bench in the 2-0 win over South Africa at 17 years, 240 days, the youngest Mexican ever to play in a World Cup, breaking a record that stood since 1930, and the first 17-year-old at a World Cup since 2002. He then started against Czechia and Ecuador, the youngest Mexican ever to start a World Cup match and the second youngest ever to start a World Cup knockout match, behind only Pele.
This is that shirt: the opening-match print on the chest, the DEBUT badge on the sleeve, and Morita\'s own signature on the back, signed in person and witnessed by us. A one-of-a-kind piece of a teenage legend in the making and of Mexico\'s home World Cup. 🇲🇽🔥
Approximate measurements (laid flat): pit to pit about 20.5 in (52 cm); length from the top of the collar to the hem about 29 in (74 cm). See photos 18 to 20.
