An absolutely beautiful example of Koji Hara’s work – a Custom liner lock folder with stippled and polished bird wing scales. Must have taken many hours to complete. Everything about this knife screams “quality”. Complete with the original zip up pouch and contained in a microfiber drawstring bag.
Measures approximately 3 1/4 inches long overall, closed. Hi-polish drop point blade measures approximately 2 1/4 inches long, edge only. Obverse with reversible thumb stud with gold lip Mother of Pearl stud insert. Obverse bade with “K. Hara” signature. Hi polish steel scales with a central sweeping bird wing design and deep stippling either. Five Abalone inserts along the spine. Hi polish spine/spacer. Liner lock.
Rock solid lock up. Smooth action. Condition is excellent, but with rubbing at the tip of both sides of the blade, a small piece of the spine and to the obverse blade near the signature, together with some very light surface scratches to the blade from wiping. No attempt made to buff or polish out.
