(Note: Beware of other listings for Samhain CDs. A good portion of them are counterfeits. In particular, MOST of the Samhain: Final Descent listings are offering counterfeits (typically made in Russia). The original issue CD (on Plan 9) is scarce and hard to find. The one I'm selling, which is the legit, band authorized, reissue on E-Magine, is preferred by most people because it features previously unreleased material that has never been issued on any other version. This E-Magine version was only available for a short time before their distributor (Tower Records distributing) went out of business, and the label folded.
As a result of all those counterfeits, it may seem that Samhain: Final Descent is not hard to find. Actually, it's scarce/rare in either the early 90s version (on Plan 9) or the version I'm selling E-Magine. But all those counterfeits fool people.A note for those looking at other listings: If you see a listing for the old Plan 9/Caroline version, look at the silver portion near the inner ring on the CD. It should say "Mastered by Nimbus". If it doesn't, it's a counterfeit. Most of the people selling the counterfeit won't show you that inner part of the ring, because they don't want you to know. (This info does not apply to the E-Magine version I'm selling. So far, counterfeits of this version have not appeared)).Oh, and although it's a different format, for your info: All the colored vinyl issues of this album are also counterfeits. All of them.
