All my CDs, blu-rays, and dvds ship the same way unless they are $30 or more. Your purchase will be wrapped in bubblewrap and then that will be wrapped in 1-2 layers of sturdy cardboard. I then wrap that with stretch plastic wrap and I put all that inside a non-padded plastic mailer. If your item costs $30 or more. I will put it in a box (with the bubblewrap) and put that box inside the mailer. The cardboard is generally just as good if not better than the box since it is tight to the item. I have never had a complaint or a damaged DVD/blu-ray.
