The case is marked “BASE METAL / ST. STEEL BACK.” Gold tone describes its appearance; it is not being represented as solid gold.
The crown and hands operated during inspection. Running was observed after battery replacement, but timekeeping accuracy and sustained operation have not been formally tested. A new battery does not establish that the movement has been serviced or guarantee future performance.
Earlier service history is unknown. The originality of individual components has not been independently verified. No water resistance is claimed; keep the watch away from water and moisture.
