Offered here is a complete1905 Kingdom of Serbia definitive stamp setfeaturingKing Peter I Karađorđević, one of the central figures in modern Serbian history.
King Peter I came to the Serbian throne in 1903, restoring the Karađorđević dynasty after decades of rivalry with the House of Obrenović. Educated in Western Europe and known for his respect for constitutional government, his reign marked an important period of parliamentary development, political reform, and growing Serbian national identity.
Issued shortly after his accession, this definitive series carried the new king’s portrait throughout the Serbian postal system. Unlike a single-event commemorative issue, these stamps were produced for regular everyday mail and represented the monarchy on correspondence traveling throughout the kingdom.
Each stamp features a detailed black portrait of King Peter I in military uniform, surrounded by an ornate colored frame. The country nameСРБИЈА, meaning Serbia, appears prominently in Serbian Cyrillic across the top. The design combines a formal royal portrait with decorative national elements characteristic of early 20th-century European stamp production.
The complete set contains all 11 denominations:
1 Para, 5 Para, 10 Para, 15 Para, 20 Para, 25 Para, 30 Para, 50 Para, 1 Dinar, 3 Dinars, and 5 Dinars.

Together, the stamps form an attractive range of colors, from the subdued gray 1-para stamp through the orange, green, violet, red, yellow, blue, deep green, and brown denominations.
This issue was released during a fascinating transitional period in Serbian history, after the restoration of the Karađorđević dynasty but before the Balkan Wars and the upheaval of World War I. The complete set offers both philatelic interest and a miniature historical portrait of the Kingdom of Serbia under King Peter I.
